How to Play

Tetris

Tetris is the classic falling-block puzzle game. Seven differently shaped pieces (called tetrominoes) drop one at a time into the playfield. Move and rotate each piece as it falls to build solid, gap-free rows.

Every time you fill a complete horizontal line it clears and your score goes up. Clear several lines at once for a bigger bonus. The game speeds up as you level up — if the stack reaches the top, it's game over.

←→Move piece left / right
↑Rotate piece
↓Soft drop (fall faster)
SpaceHard drop (drop instantly)
PPause / resume

Tips

Keep the stack flat and avoid leaving deep single-column holes.
Save the long I-piece to clear four lines at once for a "Tetris".
Use the Next preview to plan your placement ahead.
