How to Play
Klondike Solitaire
Solitaire (also known as Klondike) is the
classic single-player card game. The goal is to move all 52 cards to the
four foundation piles at the top — one pile per suit, built up in order
from Ace to King.
Cards on the seven tableau columns are stacked downward in rank
and in alternating colours (a red six on a black seven, and so
on). Flip cards from the stock pile when you run out of moves, and free
up hidden cards to keep the game flowing.
Controls
- DragMove a card or stack to a new pile
- Double clickAuto-send a card to its foundation
- ClickTurn over the stock pile
- Draw 1/3Toggle how many cards you draw
- NewDeal a fresh game
Tips
- Always uncover face-down tableau cards as early as you can.
- Don't rush Aces and Twos up — you may need them to receive cards.
- Try to empty a column so you have a home for a King.
